Expository Preaching Week
Appalachian Bible College champions expository preaching. During the year it is practiced and exemplified for our students through conferences, seminars, and chapels. This week is unique because the privilege of opening the Word of God in chapel is provided to three of our upperclassmen currently enrolled in the Homiletics Practicum classes. These men are selected by our Pastoral faculty, the emphasis being upon the priority of handling God's Word in a thorough manner, verse-by-verse.

Work Day
Unquestionably one of the most anticipated days of the academic calendar. Not because it includes final exams but because it is getting down and dirty with faculty, staff, and students all working on campus projects together. From the President down, everyone is involved in some task to beautify ABC. It's one of the many ways we are reminded of our stewardship before the Lord to take good care of what He has blessed us with.
